Installing or uninstalling the Notifier
Windows:
Requires: Windows 2000,Windows 7 or Windows XP
1- To install the Gmail Notifier:
3- Click Download Gmail Notifier.
4- Select Save when the File Download box appears.
If the application does not install immediately, click on the GmailInstaller icon and follow the installation instruction prompts.
uninstalling the Notifier
1- To uninstall the Gmail Notifier:
2- Open the Windows Control Panel.
3- Open Add or Remove Programs .
4- Highlight Google Gmail Notifier in the list of programs currently installed on your computer.
5- Click Remove.

2- Compatible with PowerPC and Intel processors
3- To install the Google Notifier in Mac OS X:
4- Go to http://mail.google.com/mail/help/notifier/notifier_mac.html (available in English only).
5- Click Download Google Notifier for Mac.
6- Depending on which browser1 you're using, you might see another dialog here. For example, if you're using Safari, you'll have to click Download in Safari's Downloads window to confirm that you really want to download Google Notifier.
Drag the Google Notifier icon to the Applications folder.
Open the Applications folder.
Double-click the Google Notifier icon and enter your Gmail username and password.
To uninstall the Gmail Notifier from Mac OS X:
1- Drag the Google Notifier icon from the Applications folder to the Trash.
